Most patients see the best results from ProFractional laser treatment after an initial series of 2 to 4 treatments, then semi-annual or annual visits after that. This routine will also vary depending on any other aesthetic treatments you may get, in addition to how your overall skin goals and lifestyle change over time.

ProFractional is specially designed to mitigate both pain and downtime compared to other laser resurfacing or exfoliation techniques. With a topical anaesthetic (and a nerve blocker, if warranted), patients typically experience minor discomfort.

 You will see initial results between three and five days after your  ProFractional treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over  time. Most patients see continual improvement for up to 6 months after  their first treatment. 

 After a single treatment, you should notice a continual improvement of  the quality of the skin on the treatment area for up to 6 months. These  results can last years with continued maintenance and proper lifestyle.  That said, the skin will eventually continue to age naturally.  Typically, patients return to their ProFractional provider every 12-18  months after their initial series to maintain their results.
